1998 Nationals

We congratulate Penny Maydak, Leah Smith, Megan Smith, and Dina Supino on great performances at the 1998 AVA/AHSA National Championships at the L.A. Equestrian Center in Burbank, CA.

Leah placed 9th overall, Penny placed 34th overall, and Dina placed 33rd in the Bronze Women's Championship. Megan placed 6th and 8th in the Barrel Fun Fest in a tough field of skilled vaulters.

We want to thank Barronsgate Vaulters, Carolyn Bland (longeur/coach), Patty Littman (owner), and of course, Mozart (aka Artie), a Czech Warmblood - all helped make the team's great performances possible!

1998 Regionals

The AVA Region 3 Championships were held at Gold Creek Equestrian Center in Woodinville, WA.

In the Bronze Women's Championship, Leah Smith placed first and Penny Maydak placed fifth. In the Walk Championship, Susie Baloghy placed first and Megan Smith placed second. Congratulations to Susie, who also received the Hi Point Walk Award.

Congratulations to Sweet P who won the Region 3 Championships Horse of the Year Award!
